The aim of this course is to enable delegates to demonstrate that they are conversant with the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671:2008 together with an online examination.

This course is intended for those currently working within the industry who are looking to update and refresh their knowledge and understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations. Typically this would include, Electrical Engineers, Contracts Managers, Designers, Surveyors and inspectors along with any practising Electricians and related trades.

There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking this qualification

There 8 units making up the course parts 1-7 and the appendices of BS 7671:2008 are

• Definitions

• Assessment of general characteristics

• Protection for safety

• Selection and erection of equipment

• Inspection and testing

• Special installations or locations

• Appendices

1. Home study at your own pace followed by
2. One day onsite in the training centre
